If you work in healthcare in the UAE, buying scrubs should be simple — but it rarely is. Sizing runs differently between brands, "medical grade" gets used loosely, and a lot of what turns up online either ships from abroad or is not the brand it claims to be. This guide covers what actually matters when you buy, so you can order once and get it right.
Where people buy scrubs in the UAE
There are four realistic routes, and each suits a different buyer:
- Physical uniform shops. Useful if you want to try a fit on the day. The trade-off is stock depth — a single store carries what fits in a single store, so colours and sizes run out.
- Specialist online retailers (this is us). Full size and colour runs held locally, delivered UAE-wide, with sizing guides per brand so you can match a fit without travelling.
- General marketplaces. Fast, but brand authenticity varies by seller and returns can be slow. If a "Cherokee" listing has no collection name and no fabric composition, treat that as a warning.

What to check before you buy
- Is it the real brand, and which collection? Genuine listings name the collection — HH Quest, HH White Coat, WW Originals Ultra. A brand name with no collection is a warning sign.
- Fabric, and how it behaves. Four-way stretch matters more than thread count on a twelve-hour shift. In UAE heat, moisture-wicking and quick-dry are the two properties you will actually notice.
- Fit, by brand. A Modern Classic fit and a tailored fit are not the same garment. Every brand we carry has its own size guide — read the one for the brand you are buying, not a generic chart.
- Pockets, honestly counted. Ask where they are, not how many. A cargo pocket on the leg and a chest welt pocket do different jobs.
- Delivery and returns inside the UAE. A local return address is worth more than a discount.
